Bio

Oleksandr Vainer was born in Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine. In 1997, he and his family relocated to Chisinau, Moldova. Mr. Vainer received an MS in Economics in 2001. He started working while in the final year of his studies.

In 2003, he took on the role of vice president at Inesco Group of Companies, based in Rivne, Ukraine. Following that, in 2005 he returned to Moldova and became CFO at Green Hills Market in Chisinau, Moldova, the largest local chain of grocery stores. Mr. Vainer returned to Ukraine in 2007, wherein in Kyiv he co-founded Agrosem LLC, a thriving agricultural enterprise, now a well-known agricultural distribution company, among the top 5 in Ukraine.

Agrosem is the largest John Deer dealer in Ukraine as of 2022, and the largest distributor in Ukraine of world-known companies, including but not limited to Yara, Corteva, Lindsay, and KWS.

Since his relocation to Ukraine M. Vainer embarked on multiple entrepreneurial ventures including El Gaucho, an agricultural enterprise located in Tovste, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine, UP Trading in Warsaw, Poland, and Most Logistic Terminal in Mostyska-Drugy, L’viv Oblast, Ukraine.

Mr. Vainer is married and has three children. In 2015 he and his family moved to Baltimore, MD, while managing his overseas entities.
